Horizon Float Tube Anchor System

The Horizon Float Tube Anchor System is a must-have for any float tubing enthusiast. It allows you to anchor up in your favourite place and fish along weed-beds and into channels without having to kick to hold your position. This allows you to fish in exactly the place you want to without the frustration of having to continually paddle to hold your position against the wind. Our team firmly believe that float tube fishing without an anchor is not nearly as effective as with an anchor.

The Horizon Float Tube Anchor System is the perfect anchor system for float tubing. The system features a 2.5 kilogram anchor attached to a 10 metre long rope which is a sufficient length for almost all of South Africa's stillwaters. There is a sliding float on the rope. A carabiner at the end of the rope allows the angler to quickly detatch the anchor system from the float tube so that the angler can move away from the anchor system. This ensures that when the angler is fighting a fish, the fish cannot become entangled in the rope. The float allows the angler to find the anchor once the fish is landed.
