Description
Description
Scientific Anglers Mastery Bass Bug is a powerful two-size heavy floating line designed specifically for throwing large air-resistant bass bugs and streamers. It loads rods quickly and turns over bulky flies with ease, making it ideal for rivers, lakes and farm ponds. A warm-weather coating and extended rear taper provide excellent control for boat or wade fishing in hotter conditions.
Technologies
- AST – Slickness additive that reduces friction, improves shootability and keeps the line performing longer.
- Welded Loops – Durable welded loops on both the front and back of the line for easy, reliable loop-to-loop connections to backing and leaders.
- SA-ID – Printed line identification system showing taper, weight and density for quick recognition.
- Braided Multifilament Core – Supple warmwater-ready core that provides smooth casting and stable line control.

Mastery Line Features
SA Mastery Series lines have been among our most-popular and best-performing lines. Mastery Series lines still deliver just as well as, if not better than they ever have before.
With the AST slickness additive, Dry-Tip technology, colour change at the rear of the head, and SA Line Identification system, Mastery lines are still the best smooth lines at their price point on the market.
