Horizon Connect Fly Reel

The Horizon Connect Fly Reel series are handsome, lightweight, high performance fly reels. They are machined from bar stock aluminium and have a smooth, strong disc drag system. The large arbor allows quick and easy line retrieval and reduces line memory.

The Horizon Connect Fly Reel 3/4 model is the perfect companion for light line rods and small stream fishing. The larger 5/6 model is the perfect all-round freshwater reel for stillwater trout and for South Africa’s indigenous yellowfish on venues like the Vaal River and Sterkfontien Dam. The largest of the models, the Connect 7/8, is the ideal reel for larger fish like the largemouth yellowfish and will take a 9-wt line and more than enough backing to handle tigerfish.
