The Horizon Rookie Fly Reel is not your average cheap-and-nasty, entry level fly reel. It’s a rugged, cast aluminium fly-reel that will give the user many years of trouble-free service. The reel features a disc drag and will hold a floating line and more than enough backing to handle any freshwater fish you’ll hook in South Africa.
The Horizon Rookie Fly Reel is available in two options:
3/4 Reel
Capacity: WF-3-F line plus 80 metres of 20lb dacron backing
5/6 Reel
Capacity: WF-5-F line plus 100 metres of 20lb dacron backing
