Based on the farm Rivendell, we have access to around 4 kilometres of the Spekboom River, a classic bushveld trout stream set in a breathtakingly beautiful valley outside Lydenburg. The stream has fast pocket water, riffles, glides and deep pools and plays home to a mix of stocked- and wild-spawned rainbow trout. Guests will learn how to read the water and effectively fish it with dry flies and small nymphs. Frontier Fly Fishing guides will be on hand to assist and instruct guests on all aspects of small stream fishing. Guests will be accommodated in their own bedrooms in two comfortably appointed houses on the river and all meals will be provided.

This is the chance to ramp up your river-craft skills whilst fishing one of the most beautiful trout streams in South Africa.
