Description
EVO Nylon is an improvement over TroutHunter’s existing nylon tippet material and is achieved through the proper application of their proprietary organic coating to their existing nylon tippet material. By applying the coating in their unique process, much stronger knot strengths are achieved with no noticeable increase in diameter. The coating also adds a measure of durability in combating abrasion.
The coating repels water so the nylon will float better than previous nylons. In addition, once the package is open the coating will protect the material from water and humidity that will enter the spools from normal use, thereby adding to the useful life of the material.
Many first time users of this material question why a spool of Trouthunter material is so expensive. Well it’s not! Instead of the usual 30 metre spools sold by other companies you’re getting 50 metres. Metre for metre the price of Trouthunter tippet material is pretty much the same as any other top-end tippet material.
