Horizon Fly Rods are designed and tested in South Africa. They are available from a dainty 1-wt to a behemoth-taming 15-wt. Spare tip, 2nd and 3rd sections are available for all Horizon rods.

Horizon is Frontier Fly Fishing’s in-house rod brand and has established itself as a rod brand that offers exceptional performance at very reasonable pricing. We aim to keep them at an affordable price so that all South African fly fisherman can enjoy their performance. The first Horizon rods appeared on the South African fly-fishing scene in 2003. They have earned a reputation for great performance with excellent, after-market back-up service.
