Spring Lake is the perfect venue for our stillwater clinics. The lake offers a variety of conditions and offers anglers the opportunity to gain experience and practice new skills. With superb accommodation and excellent facilities, you will be in the perfect place to improve your stillwater fishing.

Crystal Clear, Cold Spring Fed Lake

The venue has a 22-hectare lake with the main house a stone’s throw from its shores. It is fed by 4 natural springs on the farm, and the lake is not used for irrigation. With no farming activity, other than cattle, the lake is cold, and crystal clear all year.

The lake has varied features, like reed and weed beds, shallows, and a deep river channel. It offers our guests the opportunity to experiment with techniques across the water types. You will find willing fish in all areas of the lake.

Superb Accommodation and Relaxing Environment

The trip is aimed at beginner or intermediate anglers wanting to learn about kick-boating and effectively fishing stillwaters. Our hosts are available to assist with anything you might need to learn. Of course, the trips will also appeal to anyone who would like quality fishing on a beautiful piece of water less than 3 hours from Johannesburg.

The accommodation is superb with each guest having their own room, with most being en suite. There is a lounge, dining and entertainment area, which features a large patio where fishing tactics are discussed.
